Like most living rooms of PIONEROS DE OREGON photos of yesteryear adorned the walls.  She looked back to the old days as hard but good days.  One of her favorite photos was a photo that showed “El Pico de Orizaba Veracruz, Mexico” and one of her sisters embracing her.  Yes, this picture is worth 1000 words…as..love, joy, tenderness, family ownership is easy to see!

Concepcion’s family tree is much taller, wider and stronger than she expected.  With a PRIDE that only a mother can express as she reviews ALL the great things that her kids have accomplished; one by one!

She told me that she was not certain how many grandchildren and great grandchildren she had; she is not alone in this area as many of the other Pionero Mamas use the same expression; below is a photo of –FAMILIA en el jardin!
